Crude

Mental illnesses can't usually be seen. They're literally in your head. There's not any "right" way to deal with them. You can either take medication or you can skip it, it's all up to you. The only thing is, you can't wish it away. If you somehow wish hard enough to not have whatever illness you have, chances are you never really had it in the first place.
Saying you're depressed because you had some argument with your significant other doesn't make you depressed. Saying you have O.C.D. because you're a neat freak doesn't make you O.C.D.. Saying you're bipolar because you had a mood swing doesn't make you bipolar. Alongside that, saying you're anxious to be cute or acting like you're depressed for attention isn't cute. It's cruel. It's ignorant and makes you look foolish. It's not cute to joke about suicide when you haven't had thoughts of it. It's not cute to get angry or be abusive and blame it on a mental illness you don't have.
My point is, romanticizing mental illnesses isn't fun or cute or even slightly attractive in any way. It just creates more stigma around a topic most people don't know about because no one cares enough to actually teach it. Think before you speak. Or maybe research that topic, it's not that hard when you have google at your fingertips every single day.
