Vulnerable

Insecurity. The thought of it brings back memories of middle school, high school, and even now. Everyone has something they don't want to share with the world (a smile, their teeth, hair, body, height, acne, weight, etc.). The list is endless. The most common one is probably physical appearance. A lot of the time, it's a result of society's idea of the "perfect" person.
But that's the thing. No one's perfect. That's what makes us human.
Even though there's some illusion of the perfect person in everyone's mind, none of the flaws you worry so much about are terrible. None of them are worth worrying about. Perfection is nonexistent, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be happy with yourself. You may not think about it, but someone adores those flaws you so deeply resent. You just gotta learn to accept those flaws and love them because that's what makes you unique. That's what makes you the person you are. That's what makes you stand out in a crowd. It's a chaotic world out there. Love yourself. I promise it's worth it. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you look good. Hype yourself up. In the end, you only truly have yourself.
